Training & Technical Assistance
In The Works offers a variety of training and technical assistance services to increase capacity and efficiency of organizations to deliver harm reduction services.
We work with Health Departments and Funders to Offer
- Assessments for groups of organizations and/or grantees to identify key priorities
- Customized e-learning solutions to scale education and training, including customized modules specific to a group or geographic area [links to Page 2]
- Training & technical assistance plans using a variety of modalities including virtual training series, workshops, learning cohorts, and working groups
- Create and manage communications to organize upcoming events, policy updates, research key findings, training resources, job boards, and funding opportunities specific to a group or geographic area
- Coordinated evaluation and assessments between organizations including collaboration on defining goals, methodology, data collection, and evaluation
- On demand requests for 1:1 technical support on harm reduction and organizational development topics
We work with Individual Organizations to Offer
- Virtual or in-person training on harm reduction and team building topics with the option to include technical assistance post-training to guide implementation
- Guidance to leadership on expansion of services, staffing restructures, budgeting, development, and community partnerships
- Tools to increase accountability and efficiency including contract dashboards, policies & procedures, work plans, and performance review processes
